We are proud to announce that Dr. Azin Alizadehasl, together with co-inventors Masoud Arabamery and Mohammadhossein Sharifnia, has been granted international patent protection (WO/2026/181056) for a novel mobile esophageal echocardiography device.
This invention, which previously received the Gold Award at the 6th International Invention and Innovation Competition (IFIA, Geneva), has now also secured international patent protection.
The invention addresses a long-standing clinical challenge in transesophageal echocardiography: image degradation caused by saliva and biological fluid accumulation on the ultrasonic sensor. The device features an integrated fluid-control system, an ergonomic one-handed controller, and a modular design enabling use in fixed, portable, and fully mobile configurations.
